As we walk with Christ, we remember: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24). In each station, we have contemplated His love and sacrifice, and in our unity, we have seen His presence alive among us. Church Renovations are Complete! What a transformation! It is truly beautiful—every detail thoughtfully designed to give glory to God and honor the liturgy. This sacred space has been renewed in a way that makes it even more inspiring and reverent. Thank you for your support, prayers, and sacrifices. Holy Thursday What a blessing to celebrate this sacred Mass in our newly renovated church. ✝︎ What a blessing to honor the gift of the Eucharist and the priesthood, instituted by Christ on this holy day. 🌟What a blessing to witness our Elect and Candidates present the oils. 🙏🏼What a blessing to spend time with our Lord in silence and watchful prayer. 🤍What a blessing to be uplifted by our beautifully prepared choir. 🌿What a blessing to wash the feet of our community in humility and love. 💗What a blessing to have our seminarian, Abner, with us. —Truly, what a blessing to celebrate such a beautiful and grace-filled Mass together— Good Friday ✠ The Greek word “τετέλεσται” (tetelestai) indicates that our debt has been paid in full, we have been restored and made whole again. Easter Vigil Mass It has been a triduum full of blessings. We are so proud of the spiritual growth in both communities. We are deeply grateful to welcome new members as we continue our journey toward heaven, our true homeland. Without a doubt, God has blessed our community in many ways, and we give thanks with joyful hearts. Italy Jubilee Pilgrimage Our St. John’s pilgrims are off to a blessed start on their Jubilee Pilgrimage through Italy! They began in Turin, visiting the resting place of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and praying before the Shroud of Turin. They journeyed to Pisa for Mass at the Cathedral and climbed up the Leaning Tower before heading to Florence. In the past few days, they’ve been exploring the beauty and faith of Florence, Siena, and Orvieto. 🙏 Please keep Father Mauricio, Father Samy, and all our pilgrims in your prayers as they journey together on this pilgrimage of faith. 💒✝️ Please keep Abner Sierra in your prayers! Welcome, Dr. Adam Miller! We are overjoyed to welcome Adam P. Miller as the new Choir Director. 🙌✨ With over 15 years of dedicated service in music ministry, Adam P. Miller brings a wealth of experience, spiritual depth, and a profound love for sacred music to every choir he leads. Rooted in the rich traditions of the Catholic Church, he has devoted his life to glorifying God through liturgical music that uplifts the soul and deepens the faith of both choir and congregation. A lifelong musician and faithful Catholic, Adam P. Miller has directed parish choirs, led diocesan music events, and collaborated on major liturgical celebrations, including Easter and Christmas Masses, Confirmations, and Eucharistic Adoration. He is well-versed in Gregorian chant, polyphony, contemporary Catholic worship, and the structure of the Mass, always ensuring that the music aligns reverently with the liturgy. Adam P. Miller seeks musical excellence and a spirit of unity, prayer, and worship in every rehearsal and performance. His mission is to inspire hearts, draw souls closer to Christ, and lead the choir in becoming instruments of grace in the liturgy. Let’s give him a warm, spirit-filled welcome to him and his spouse, Certified Public Accountant Madelyn Miller!! 🎵🙏 Be Part of Our Church Family —Come as you are and experience the love, support, and joy of a community rooted in faith. You’re not just welcome — you belong— Relic of the True Cross adorns the diocese’s new Jubilee Cross An Arkansas deacon crafted the Jubilee Cross, which will serve as a symbol of the Holy Year for the Diocese of Little Rock. Deacon Mark Verkamp, assistant to the director of diaconate formation and deacon at Sacred Heart Church in Charleston, said creating the cross that can be carried or displayed on a table was “awe-inspiring” since it includes a relic from the cross believed to be carried by Jesus before his death and resurrection.
